A short guide to EDM
I've been wanting to post this somewhere at least to get some people know what genre they are talking about. Its mostly about EDM (electronic dance music), but strangely... some people call the whole genre electronica as well. The point is I hope this small flash help gives some insight on what the different types of genre in electronic music and hoped people would stop calling the whole genre techno.
To give an idea why some people get irritated by this is mostly because techno is actually a sub genre of EDM. Its like calling death metal, grudge or some other genre which doesn't even suit the idea of death metal in the first place. http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide/ |

I like EDM night at this club I go to, but I wouldn't be able to name any artists, it's just good to go nuts to.
